Description

Fake News is a headline building party game. In Fake News, players use the cards in their hand and the topic to build the most compelling headline. If they win the favor of the editor and get their headline published, it'll trend on social media! The first player to trend 5 times WINS!

History

Long past 1am at a friends birthday party in a motel in the town where Twin Peaks was filmed, Sam Strick (creator of Fake News) was playing some word and sentence building boardgames. While they were okay he immediately had some rule tweaks and changes to transform these games into a decent party game. A year later, and after much testing, Sam created an all new sentence building party game! Fake News has been a staple in his boardgame nights and has received high marks from those he forces to play it! Now that the game is ready, he's taking it to Kickstarter to get it into your hands!

  • Fun word-poker style gameplay!
  • 3-7 players!
  • Varying round types!
  • Super easy to learn!
  • Great for parties and game nights!
